Update on Jinkies Parties

Hi everyone!  For those of you that have frequented my blog over the past year may have noticed that I have been M.I.A for a while.  I didn’t forget any of you nor did I stop my party endeavors.  I did however manage a bit of a snag in this here ol’ blog!  You would not believe the trouble I’ve had this past year!  I literally lost a year’s worth of posts, somehow my host server did a “my bad” and totally dumped all of my information!  Every. Single. Thing.  Pictures, gone! Posts, gone too!  I had tried my best to fix the issue but after MONTHS of trying, it’s all gone 🙁

I have to admit that at first I was royally p’d off!  I mean all of my hard work, gone!  Here is the cliff notes version of what’s been happening:  After months of trouble shooting my issue on my own as well as via emails with my hosting site, I decided to do a live chat.  When I contacted my hosting site’s live chat personnel, I was dealing with a very nasty, negative person,  he pretty much blamed me saying that I should of backed up my files, (which I did until I couldn’t log in to my account!). then he snidely remarked that I was incompetent and that it wasn’t his fault.  Mind you I never even blamed anyone!  All I asked was how can we fix it? and he went off!  After dealing with this guy for 20 minutes he says I can no longer help you and dumped me on to some other technician, which I’m glad to say was a lot nicer and  helpful and although we couldn’t fix the issue he did manage to save some of my old posts.  (At least I’m not starting from scratch, can you imagine!)

Since then, I have been working behind the scenes with a re-branding of my website, blog and business.  It will be back better than ever and I’m so excited and cannot wait to show the new and improved Jinkies Parties.  So please pardon the dust as we move forward on our newest adventure!
